We all want to bask in the fountain of youth for as long as we can, but both men and women shouldn't resort to anti-aging products as the first line of defense. There are many delicious foods that help fight the factors of aging. Here's our favorites.

1. Blueberries: Antioxidants are everything. 

These blue gems are loaded with antioxidants and just one serving delivers more than you get from most other fruits or vegetables.

2. Eat fish, live longer

Fish are full of omega-3 fatty acids, which has been shown to extend longevity. There also good for your heart. The American Heart Association recommends people eat fish at least twice per week.

3. Red Wine: Slows process of aging.

Red wine contains antioxidants that help prevent heart disease, protecting arteries and blood vessels. Red wine contains resveratrol, which may activate genes that slow cellular aging.

4. Beans: Good for the heart.

Beans are a low-fat protein, also rich in fiber as well as vitamins, minerals, and potassium. Beans aid in hair growth and thicken hair cells by making the fibers stronger.

5. Eat cucumbers, reduce wrinkles

Cucumbers are always a great addition to any salad – and great for your skin, at that. The peels contain silica which helps boost collagen and reduce wrinkles.

6. Tomatoes

Certain red fruits -- including tomatoes -- contain lycopene, an antioxidant compound called carotenoids that helps maintain youthful skin texture.

Studies have shown it protects the skin from sun damage. It also keeps your teeth and gums healthy. 

Lycopene may reduce the risk of some types of cancer (especially prostate, lung, and stomach cancers) and heart disease.

Tomatoes can also protect our bodies from toxins in the air likely from cigarette smoke and air pollution.
